    Just a couple of questions:
Is the wood solid, or is it a veneer applied to a plastic keyboard?
The keys appear to be plastic. Did you make the body and then just fit it over an existing keyboard?
Have you thought of extending the leds from the circuitboard with wires, fitting them into holes in the faceplate with hot glue, then filling the holes with clear casting epoxy?
What kind of wood did you use? What kind of finish?
Are you planning to make a matching mouse?
Are you regretting not turning off the comments field yet? : )

It does look amazing. Like you put a lot of time and attention to detail into it. Congratulations.

  2. Solid board foot of oak, light orange stain and then varnish. Used a router to machine out space for the innards of a usb keyboard. LEDs, nope.. didnt bother with that level of detail. For the ‘mouse’ I’m in the middle of writing up an article for make, you can see the design here http://www.flickr.com/photos/pauric/4303316145/in/set-72157616093748066/
